Current initiatives and priorities grow out of the CDC’s mission to develop and preserve housing accessible to households with a range of incomes; prevent displacement of neighborhood residents; and strengthen the commercial base of neighborhoods we serve. Examples of activities reflecting our mission include:

• Developing and Preserving Housing. Transit-oriented development at Logan Square; foreclosure acquisition.
• Preventing Displacement. Foreclosure counseling outreach in collaboration with Codman Square NDC.
• Strengthening Neighborhoods’ Commercial Base. Transit-oriented development at Logan Square; Hyde Park Green Team.
