Southwest Boston is currently working on goals and objectives which include the following:

• Create homeownership opportunities for first time homebuyers.
• Preserve affordable rental housing.
• Undertake economic development projects to help revitalize neighborhoods.
• Organize and support Hyde Park and Roslindale residents on community issues.
• Build leadership and membership of the SWBCDC from residents and business owners in Hyde Park and Roslindale.
• Build working relationships and collaborations with other local organizations.
