Bridges to Green Jobs - Cohort 3 Coming January 2023

Do you or someone you know want to learn a new trade and the opportunity to earn over $1,500/week in just 6 months? They might be a great fit for a career in the clean energy industry!

LISC and community partners are thrilled to announce a third cohort of Bridges to Green Jobs. This program provides industry-specific technical and soft skills training to residents interested in entering the clean energy sector through weatherization. The skills gained through this training are in a field that is in high-demand as companies aim to meet the state’s climate goals, and can open doors to new career pathways.

Interviews will take place December 27th - January 4th and the program will run from January 5th - 23rd, 2023 in Nubian Square, 9am - 3pm (most days).

What To Expect:

• Weeks 1 & 2: Hands-on technical training (ladders, attics, power tools, and more), soft skills training, and financial coaching

• Weeks 3-6: Job placement with paid training

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Must be comfortable on ladders, with tight spaces, and crawling

• Must be able to lift 60 lbs

• High School diploma not required
